Hey all. Well about time I hear you say. I have been saying it for ages and now I have finally finished it. My very own Web Page. After a couple of hours of work, I have finished it and doesn?t it look GREAT. Well I think it does anyway.. Well, as most of you know me you would all know that I am HUGE HOLDEN fan. Their?s nothing quite like a Holden as far as I am concerned. So before we go any further I would like to say that FORD fans (Fix Or Repair Daily) can get lost now, because only smart people are allowed to look at my page,

Well, now what. I am 17 and I live on Brisbane?s North-side. I finished Year 12 last year ( 1999 ) and I am not quite sure what I am going to do this year. I know what I want to do in life but I don?t know whether or not I will undertake the studies this year or not. I have a part time job at a local Supermarket as a ?Check-out Chick?, I know, I know, not all that glamorous but hey, it pays the bill?s. It has it good side though, it allows me to keep in touch with my good friends which also work there.

Well that is enough about me. Lets look at this REALLY COOL web site of mine. Because I am a Holden fan, the page is mostly made up of Holden pictures and info about them. You will also find links to the official Holden and HSV sites as well as other cool Holden site?s. So Please sit back relax and welcome to the world of HOLDEN. But we will finish with my favourite quote;

The ClubSport. Body and soul by HSV, heart by Chevrolet... a 5.7 litre, 250kW, 473Nm brute beating away inside, backed by an engineering depth built on 44 years of continuous Chevrolet small block V8 development. And, of course, there is a new ultimate ClubSport, the R8 performance version.

The LS1 is a clean sheet design, yet the new engine retains the simplicity, low maintenance and longevity of earlier Chevy V8 engines. But it draws on the latest technology and materials to deliver unprecedented levels of refinement, performance and economy. Launched in the most sophisticated Corvette ever, the LS1 was engineered from the start as one of the world's great sports car engines. It delivers a seamless rush of power right up to its 6000rpm redline, yet it is remarkably flexible and docile for everyday driving.

The ClubSport and ClubSport R8. Two great HSV road and track packages, now with LS1 power and the same Chevrolet V8 heritage as the famous Holden V8 race cars.

The new LS1 V8 catapults Senator Signature into a class of its own. Big enough to provide relaxing long distance comfort for a full complement of passengers and luggage, agile enough to encourage the driver to find a freeway exit and enjoy the sheer exhilaration of driving into the unknown, there is no better model to showcase the new sophistication and performance of the LS1 V8 than the Senator Signature.

Launched in the latest Chevrolet Corvette, the 5.7 litre LS1 engine was given a remarkable range abilities. Meticulous development gave it a spirited, free-revving feel with such huge reserves of power and torque that the extra luxury of the Senator Signature has little impact on its performance.
There is no mistaking the Senator Signature's purposeful exterior for an HSV but there is a discreet elegance and restraint not shared with other HSV models. Inside, the combination of the sporting and the sensual is evidenced by wraparound luxury seating, the quite magnificent leather and wood trim, and quality sound system with CD stacker. The luxury suspension package with unique rear self-levelling isolates passengers from the worst of roads without isolating the driver from the excitement.

Size does matter. The new long wheelbase Grange turns even the shortest drive into a special occasion for passenger and driver. Indeed, the Grange is the largest, most luxurious performance car ever to wear an HSV badge - but behind the wheel it soon shrinks around the driver, enclosing him in a cocoon of luxury. The choice of the V6 supercharged or the powerful new LS1 V8 engine, shared with the latest Chevrolet Corvette, allows the Grange to set new performance and refinement standards for a luxury car at a price tag less than half its similar-sized rivals. And it achieves this without the complexity of the world's most extravagant big cars. Apart from top level luxury and performance, Grange priorities include simplicity, durability and low maintenance in some of the world's toughest conditions to ensure that it will always be of value over its long life. At the same time it manages to look contemporary and yet refreshingly unpretentious and timeless.
The Grange stands aloof from other HSV models with a distinctive style and balance that sets it apart from even the best European and Japanese luxury models. HSV styling input has never been so comprehensive for a long wheelbase luxury model. Sculptured side skirts and the sweeping roofline work in harmony to generate a squat "sports look" rarely seen in a car this size. Front styling has the restraint and elegance of a thoroughbred with its traditional wire mesh grille, a functional theme repeated in the lower air intake. In keeping with its HSV flagship status, the Grange is permitted a sculptured chrome grille surround and polished centre grille medallion. Rear styling includes discreet skirts with matching exhaust outlet and a subtle rear spoiler. The substantial, structural look of the 10-spoke 18 inch alloy wheels match the performance and luxury focus of the Grange.

In the honoured tradition of the sought-after HSV premium limited edition models, such as the dark blue SV88, the all white SV89, the rich red SV90, the mid-blue SV91 and the white SV93, the SV99 is the first SV limited edition in six years. And it reflects HSV's huge strides in sophistication and individual build capabilities over that period. The SV99 exterior comes only in one unique breathtaking, vibrant shade of gold which under some light conditions glows like the real thing! Christened "Hackett Gold", it honours the golden achievements of Australian swimming sensation, Grant Hackett, who has given this striking new limited edition his endorsement. In an HSV first, the golden theme extends to a colour matched full leather interior including the gearshift knob, manual gear lever boot and matching inserts in the steering wheel. Even the instrument panel surround colour is toned to the exclusive leather trim. Cabin equipment includes fully contoured Performance seats, climate control, high quality sound system with CD stacker, dual airbags, side impact airbags and cruise control.

But the SV99 is much more than a special colour and a lavish interior. Where it counts, HSV has gone further than ever before. The LS1 Chevrolet Corvette connection dictates a high performance discipline beyond the superficial. The full house HSV-enhanced LS1 with 250kW is fitted with a sports rear muffler assembly in addition to the big bore HSV extractor system.
There will only be one SV99 model and only 99 will ever be made. Even by HSV standards, that makes it fearfully exclusive. Yet it also represents excellent value.
So which milestone does the SV99 celebrate? The first LS1 powered HSV limited edition? The fastest and most complete SV performance model? In the end, it really doesn't matter. Just owning an SV99 is worth celebrating.

Destined to become a true collectors item, the latest GTS is the most comprehensive limited edition sports sedan ever produced by HSV. The GTS will commence production in limited numbers in the first half of next year for Australia and export markets - where it will take on the world?s top rung prestige sports cars. To take on the world?s best, HSV has pushed out the performance car envelope with a complete GTS package addressing not only engineering and safety, but also driver performance. This includes with every GTS purchase a comprehensive HSV driver training and skills course. The car features a total performance approach consistent with the unique Callaway developed C4B engine fitted exclusively to the GTS model. Power output will be 300kW which will place the GTS in the same outright performance league as European rivals costing two to three times the price.

The C4B engine leaves the GM Romulus plant in the US and is sent to Callaway?s Connecticut facility where it is specially prepared for the HSV GTS application. This unique joint venture between HSV and Callaway brings together for the first time two companies with impeccable performance car credentials.
Callaway is renowned for its work in high performance car engineering - in particular the development work it performs on the Chevrolet Corvette model. The GTS will exclusively feature the heavy duty T56 six speed manual transmission, as well as huge cross drilled premium brakes with four piston callipers front and rear.
The hand finished nature of the GTS is also confirmed by its unique HSV "Multilink" rear suspension. Extra grip and control are immediately apparent as the new suspension design minimises camber change and increases toe control. The new model also marks the return of "Hydratrak" - the Australian developed rear axle unmatched in its speed and response to different traction requirements. Special 18 inch alloy wheels and premium Bridgestone SO-2 tyres will be standard. These features add up to the most comprehensive brake and traction package featured in an Australian performance car.
Colours will be limited to two exclusive choices, Phantom Black and Sting Red, matched with unique red leather trim. Four driver and passenger airbags including side airbags will be standard. The display car features a colour matched interior, climate control air conditioning, 10 stack CD player and glass sliding sunroof. Prototype testing indicates the following remarkable performance figures for an Australian produced 4 door full size sedan:
0-100 kph - 5.1 seconds
0-400 m - 13.3 seconds
